With its theme, PCU: Nurturing Faith, Transforming character and Inspiring Service celebrated its 68th Founding Anniversary last October 1 –6, 2014. The week-long activity started with the Flag Raising ceremony, Open House, Students’ fun filled activities and culminated with a Fellowship Dinner and Service Awards at the Hotel Sofitel, Manila.
To open PCU’s 68th Founding Anniversary on October 6, 2014. The Special Events Committee chaired by Dean Edna O. Imperial declared SEPTEMBER 28, 2014 as PCU Sunday. The activity will highlight on church activities of the United Methodist Church and the United Church of Christ in the Philippines.

PCU joined the 26th Counselling and Career Fair held last September 3-5, 2014 at the Philippine Trade and Training Center organized by the International Education Specialist. There were thousands of graduating High School students all over Metro Manila Visited to seek information about the Career Path for their College Education.
Four PCU professors were speakers during the said Fair. Dean Edna O. Imperial who talked on “Nursing as Profession in the 21st Century,” professor Ana Marie Abrera who tackled abou “The Role of Mass Communication in the Modern World” and Professor Mark Bendo who discussed “Accounting Profession in the Global Workforce.”
The Institute of Physical Education Arts and Culture (ISPEAC) will hold its 23rd P.E. Interclass Intramurals on September 16-19, 2014 with the theme: “In whatever we do, do it for the glory of God“. The weeklong students’ sports and cheering competition is a culminating activity of Physical Education classes.
The Philippine Christian University Alumni Association, Inc. will be holding a “Treat to PCU Bar and Board passer of 2013-2014”. This activity of PCUAAI is an expression of appreciation and thanksgiving to its members in recognition of their performances into their field of professions. The activity will be held at Max’s M.Y. Orosa, U.N. Ave. on September 12, 2014. Bishop Rudy R. Juan of the UMC will be the thanksgiving speaker together with University President, Deans and PCUAAI Board of trustees.

College of Arts Acting Dean, Professor Emilie E. Tangonan and Professor Rosanna M. Macuha together with Dr. Gloria Q. Resurreccion of the Graduate School attended the 16th World Council for Curriculum and Instruction (WCCI), International conference on Education in Town and Country Resort Convention Hotel in san Diego, California, USA the conference aimed at achieving the integration of Education for a lasting culture of peace and care for mother earth.
