Initiated by the newly elected University President, Dr. Junifen F. Gauuan, the Philippine Christian University strengthened its tie-up by signing a Memorandum of Agreement with different schools in Thailand, Cambodia and Middle East under its Transnational Education Program.
The Philippine Christian University once again paves its way into sports by participating in the National Athletic Association of Schools Colleges and Universities (NAASCU) www.naascu.org/. Merry Joy D. Reyes was ranked 4th Place in the recently conducted Board Examination for Social Work, aside from the 24 new Social Work passers issued by the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) www.prc.gov.ph/. Reyes graduated Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the Philippine Christian University.
Aside from the CHED’s requirement for Quality Assurance, the Philippine Christian University subjected itself to ISO 9001:2008 certification last July 12, 2014. The university went through quality management system awareness program conducted by TUV Rheinland. Junifen F. Gauuan, Ph.D. was installed as the 7th President of the Philippine Christian University in a truly Christian-oriented investiture held on June 5, 2014 at Central United Methodist Church. He was elected by the Board of Trustees chaired by Atty. Perfecto R.
