FOR STUDENTS’ IMPROVEMENT

Research teacher Roberto dela Rosa proofreads Chapter 1 of a paper submitted by one of Grade 12 Technical-Vocational and Livelihood (TVL) students. Dela Rosa spends his vacant hours in checking students’ written work in order to provide feedback for the enhancement of the research work. “Teaching is a passion—you need to give quality time and devotion to it,” he said. TESTING THE ATHLETES’ SKILLS.

Joshua Nullan (left) and Vincent Muca, both students of Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) strand of the Philippine Christian University (PCU)—Senior High School Department (SHSD), test each one’s skills in the game of table tennis during a try-out held last February 12 to help the coaches decide who deserve to compete in the much-awaited sports event. The try-out was part of the preparation for the SHSD Intramurals scheduled on March 25-26, 2019. “Ibinibigay talaga ng mga nagta-try out ang best nila. Doon mo makikita ang kanilang competitiveness and desire to win,” said Ms. Excel Arididon, teacher-coach of table tennis. (Photo and text by Jahzeel Barredo)
