Presidents, Directors, Principals, and Deans that represent 19 UCCP institutions from different regions attended the first assembly of the Church Related Educational Action Towards Empowerment (CREATE) Summit 2023 hosted by Philippine Christian University-Manila last September 5-6, 2023, at the 7th Floor Function Hall, Science and Technology Building, PCU Manila.

With the theme “Empowering minds, Nurturing souls: Uniting for Educational Excellence,” the event focuses on different practices, achievements, and challenges that each college and university has faced throughout the past years, especially during the pandemic. With each representative proudly sharing and introducing their respective schools, the function hall was filled with inspirational stories on how each institution arose from the challenges and continues to give Christian education and values to its stakeholders.

Dr. Margie D.G. Dela Cruz, Vice President for Globalization and Extension Program, announced that as part of the PCU’s contribution to CREATE, the university will give four graduate school scholarships, two master’s slots, and two doctoral slots to each college and university, highlighting the importance of continuing education for professional growth. The event ended with a fruitful gathering and a stronger partnership.
